Event overview
The Timberline Marathon and Half Marathon takes place on June 6 and 7, 2026, in Government Camp, Oregon. Events listed for the weekend are a marathon (Saturday), a half marathon (Saturday), and a half marathon (Sunday). Prices shown are $65 for the marathon (Saturday), $65 for the half marathon (Saturday), and $55 for the half marathon (Sunday). Registration opens August 1, 2025, and listed fees increase after February 28, 2026.
Course and location
Both distances use single-track trails that circle Timothy Lake. The course begins at the Clackamas Lake Historic Ranger Station and crosses three rustic bridges over tributaries that flow into the lake. The venue is at about 3,227 feet in the high Cascades and offers views of Mt. Hood across Timothy Lake.
Entry inclusions and teams
Registration includes a finisher medal and a gender-specific technical shirt. Teams of four or more receive discounts: each team member gets a $5 entry fee refund once the fourth person registers, and additional team members also receive $5 off. Teams with four or more members that register on or before May 1, 2026 will receive custom bibs with the team name. Team members must register for an event held on the same day; on Saturday each team member may choose either the marathon or the half marathon.
