Timberline Marathon

Timberline Marathon and Half Marathon take place around Timothy Lake in the high Cascades of the Pacific Northwest. Scheduled for June 6–7, 2026, the race offers both marathon and half-marathon distances on single-track trails circling the shimmering lake. Set at 3,227 feet, runners are treated to dramatic views of Mt.

Hood across the water. The course begins at the Clackamas Lake Historic Ranger Station and weaves over three rustic bridges that span sparkling tributaries feeding the lake. With ever-changing scenery and terrain, the Timberline event promises a memorable, scenic trail experience and is described as the most picturesque in the region.
