The Truckee event is the ninth annual running that offers two race distances. Both races start and finish in Historic Downtown Truckee. The event takes place in the Sierra region and uses local roads and trails.

Registration is tiered by date and includes onsite entry if the race has not sold out. Sample entry fees listed are: Half Marathon $100 (by 3/31), $105 (by 7/31), $115 onsite; Half Marathon Youth/Senior $90, $95, $105; 5K $60, $65, $70; 5K Youth/Senior $55, $60, $65.
Course, services and awards
The course surface is a mixture of pavement and dirt and covers both roads and Truckee’s trail system. Packet pickup, vendor check-in and post-race activities are held at Alibi Ale Truckee.
Race entries include an event T-shirt and a finishing medal. Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers and in 5-year age categories. The event provides race recovery nutrition and post-event festivities that include music and cold beverages, with alcoholic and non-alcoholic options listed.
