Turkey Trot 5K - Cleburne

Event details

The Hybrid Runner Foundation 4th Annual Turkey Trot 5K takes place on Saturday, November 22, 2025, in Cleburne, Texas. The event is based at Hulen Park (301 W Westhill Dr, Cleburne, TX 76033) and donates proceeds to the Cleburne High School cross country and track teams as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. The course starts at the corner of Hillsboro Street and 1st Street and follows a neighborhood loop that includes Westhill, Forrest Avenue (turnaround at 2nd Street), Beckley, Hemphill, and returns to finish at Hillsboro and 1st. The event is held rain or shine; headphones are discouraged, bicycles and wheeled devices are not permitted on the course, and strollers are allowed if started at the back of the field. The event features a mascot race, sponsored booths, a best turkey costume prize, and an emcee/DJ from the Cleburne Railroaders.

Registration fees vary by date: pre-registration (through 9/13/25) was $25, regular registration (9/14/25–11/21/25) was $30, and day-of registration was listed at $35 with no teams accepted on race day. Teams of 10 or more registered by 11/21/25 receive a $5 per-person discount. Registered 5K participants receive an official 2025 Turkey T-shirt (guaranteed for registrations by 10/31/25), a goodie bag, sponsor giveaways, free race photos, chip-timed results, and finish-line water and food. Awards include plaques for overall, master (40+), and senior (60+) winners, trophies for top age-group finishers, and additional trophies or plaques for largest teams and booth decoration.
