Event overview
The Viking 5K, 10K, & Half Marathon takes place on February 28, 2026, in Shreveport, Louisiana at the Stoner Avenue Recreation Area / Stoner Avenue Skate Plaza (71101). The event includes the following distances:

Course and logistics
The 5K and 10K use an out-and-back course; the 5K completes the route once and the 10K completes it twice. The Half Marathon also uses an out-and-back course and runs the same route four times. The event has a course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes. Participants are asked to park at the Stoner Avenue Skate Plaza next to the soccer fields.
