Event
Valentine's Dash is scheduled for Saturday, February 7, 2026 in Kentwood, MI at the Kentwood Library (4950 Breton Rd SE). The event includes a 5K race over a course that uses a combination of trails, roads and paved pathways. Kids and families are welcome. The fastest runners will receive awards, and an awards ceremony will take place in the Kentwood Library Community Room directly after the race. Awards can also be picked up the week after the event at the Kentwood Parks and Recreation Department.
Logistics and charity
General entry for the 5K is listed at $30, with the price increasing after January 18, 2026. There is a special price option to sign up as a couple and save $5 each. Participants receive a long sleeve shirt, a participation medal and other items in their packet; shirts are not guaranteed for registrations made after 1/20/25. Early packet pickup is available at the Kentwood Activities Center (355 48th St. SE) on the Thursday and Friday before the race and on the morning of the race at the Kentwood Library. Proceeds from the event support the Little Free Pantry, which provides food and hygiene products to people in the community. Racers who bring an item to donate are entered into a drawing for one free entry to a 2025 race; the drawing winner will be chosen during the awards ceremony.
