Event overview
The Vienna Turkey Trot 5K/10K and Fun Run takes place on November 23, 2025, at the Vienna Volunteer Fire Department, 400 Center Street South, Vienna, VA 22180. The James Madison High School Band is hosting the 23rd annual event. Proceeds benefit the JMHS "Pride of Vienna" Band and the Vienna Volunteer Fire Department. The event includes post-race snacks and refreshments and encourages participants to wear turkey or holiday gear.

Registration is online only. Packet pick up is available Friday, November 21 at the Vienna Community Center (120 Cherry Street SE) and Saturday, November 22 at Road Runner Sports (1120 West Broad Street, Falls Church); race day packet pick up is at the Vienna Volunteer Fire Department (second floor). Runners who register after November 3, 2025 are not guaranteed a T-shirt. Parents do not need to register to run with their children in the Fun Run. The race uses ChronoTrack B-Tag timing chips attached to the back of bibs; bibs should be worn on the front, pinned in all four corners, kept visible, and not folded or modified. Awards are given three deep for male and female finishers in age groups 0-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80+.
