Event overview
The 20th Annual Walk the Fight & Run the Distance is a fundraising event for the Muhammad Ali Parkinson Center at Barrow Neurological Institute. It takes place on February 7, 2026, at Tempe Beach Park, West Rio Salado Parkway, Tempe, Arizona. The event includes in-person and virtual participation options and is managed by StartLine Racing.

Logistics and features
Packet pickup is available February 6, 2026 at Road Runner Sports in Tempe and on race day at Tempe Beach Park. Early registration prices and later registration prices are listed for each event; sample amounts include $25 and $35 for the walk options and $35 and $45 for the 5K run. Paid registrants receive a custom event medal and a Dri-Fit tech shirt (a no-shirt option reduces the fee). The run is chip timed with real-time results and event photos. Age group awards are given to the top three in each age group. On-site features include a resource fair, kids area, photo booth, and a poster table. Wheelchairs, strollers, and wagons are welcome; leashed pets are allowed. Roller blades, skateboards, and motorized devices are not permitted on the courses. Team fundraising tiers include private team tent access at $2,000 raised and an additional team benefit at $2,500 raised. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
