About the race
White Pine Thaw Marathon Relay is a team relay race in Comstock Park, Michigan, along the Fred Meijer White Pine Trail. Teams cover the 26.2-mile course in six legs (three northbound, three returning south), with each runner completing a leg and passing to the next. The relay begins at Vitale's in Comstock Park and traverses Belmont and Rockford segments, crossing roads; the course is not closed, so runners manage crossings and safety.
