Event overview
The Woodford County Santa Shuffle is an annual run and family event held on Saturday, December 13, 2025 in Midway, Kentucky. The main road race is a 5K run/walk that starts and finishes in downtown Midway near 113 East Main Street. The event also includes a free Kids' Elf Dash, a virtual runner/walker option, and a volunteer registration role.
Features and logistics
The race offers commemorative shirts (unisex and youth sizes), free race photos, a DJ, awards for overall and age group finishers (1st, 2nd and 3rd in five-year age divisions), a prize for the largest social team, and a best dressed contest with prizes. The Kids' Elf Dash is presented by Versailles Pediatrics and includes a participation medal; a commemorative kids shirt is available for an additional fee. The event benefits two local charities, Cops For Kids Inc. and the Jeri Hartley Foundation, with partial proceeds and donations directed to those organizations. Packet pickup is available Friday, December 12 at the Woodford County Chamber of Commerce office at 126 S Main St, Versailles, KY 40383, and there is race morning packet pick-up in downtown Midway.
