American River Endurance Run

Event overview

The American River Endurance Runs are a set of trail races that finish in Auburn and use the City of Folsom as the start and hospitality host. The event includes a 50-mile ultramarathon that follows the American River Parkway from Folsom to Auburn, plus shorter races that also finish in Auburn. The race website lists sponsors including Altra, GU Energy, Skratch Labs and others. Packet pickup is available at Fleet Feet Folsom in the days before the race.

Entry for each race includes a NorCalUltras goody bag, a technical race shirt (size not guaranteed for late registrants), on-course GU gels and Skratch hydration, professional timing and results, a handcrafted finisher medallion for all finishers, and food and beverage options at the post-race area. AR50 finishers receive a special finisher pullover hoody. The organizer states that all entry fees are non-refundable and entries are non-transferable; an optional enhanced refund protection program through Race Roster and Protecht is available for an additional fee.
