Event details
The event takes place on December 13, 2025, at Reese High School, 1696 S Van Buren Rd., Reese, MI 48757. Distances offered are:
- 5K Run
- 5K Walk
- 10K Run
The entry fee is $10.00 and there are no shirts. Two dollars from each entry will be donated to the Reese High School Athletic Program. Facilities include restrooms and use of locker rooms. The course is flat and on asphalt roads.
Series, awards and age groups
This race is part of the BARC Winter Race Series. Awards are given to all finishers. Series points are awarded for running each race and for placing in the age group across the four races in the series. Points are awarded as follows: 5 points for completing the course in each race, plus additional points for age-group placings (5 points for 1st, 4 points for 2nd, 3 points for 3rd, 2 points for 4th, and 1 point for 5th). The highest score in each age group and distance receives a special series award. To qualify for the special award, a participant must run three races in the same age group and the same distance. Age used for series points is the participant's age on December 13, 2025 or on the first race they run. Age groups span from 14 and under through 70 and over in standard five-year bands.
