Winterläufe - The Winter Race

Winterläufe - The Winter Race is an annual 8K running and walking event held in Frankenmuth, Michigan, hosted by the Frankenmuth Jaycees. This scenic out-and-back road race showcases the beautiful countryside and includes a notable crossing of the historic 1904 Gugel Bridge. Participants can choose from an 8K Run, 8K Walk, or Economy options for both, with the Economy option offering a more affordable entry without race swag.

Registrants (except Economy) receive a themed long-sleeved cotton T-shirt, finisher medal, and finish-line food, with an option to upgrade the shirt. The event supports charity causes and features awards for top finishers. The race starts and finishes near the Bavarian Inn Restaurant.
