The Black Hills 100 is a challenging ultramarathon held annually in late June in Sturgis, South Dakota, along the Centennial Trail (#89) and Deerfield Trail (#40). The event offers four distances: 100 miles, 50 miles, 50 kilometers, and 30 kilometers. The 100-mile race features approximately 108 miles with over 16,700 feet of elevation gain, following an out-and-back course from Sturgis to Silver City and back.
