Event overview
The Blackhawk Bolt 5K & Fun Run is scheduled for Saturday, November 15, 2025, at North Buncombe High School in Weaverville, NC. This is the fourth annual running of the event. The course is described as a road-to-trail route located entirely on the North Buncombe High School campus. Net proceeds support the students, staff, and programs at the high school.
Race registration includes a race T-shirt. Participants who register by November 3, 2025, are guaranteed the official race T-shirt. A limited number of extra shirts may be available on race day on a first-come, first-served basis.
