Onesie One Miler : Downtown Asheville

The Onesie One Miler is a chip-timed, point-to-point road race of 1 mile held in downtown Asheville. The course starts in front of Jan Davis Tire Store on Patton Avenue and finishes in the Galaxy Room parking lot. The event takes place immediately before the Asheville Holiday Parade and roads on the course will be closed for parade preparations. Onesies are encouraged but not required; there is a special award for the best onesie. Registration includes a commemorative beanie and a donation to the Asheville Downtown Association.

Logistics, awards and policies

Packet pick up is provided at Jan Davis Tire Store on race day. There is a 30-minute time limit to complete the course and no course aid will be provided. Strollers are allowed but must start at the back of the field. Dogs and other animals are not allowed to run; service animals may be permitted with prior approval and supporting documentation. Top awards are offered in female, male and nonbinary categories, and prizes are listed for first through third place. The event has a no-refund policy and does not allow deferrals; transfers to a virtual option or to another runner are allowed up to five days before the event.
