Onesie One Miler

Onesie One Miler - Downtown Asheville

The Onesie One Miler is a one-mile, chip-timed, point-to-point race in downtown Asheville on November 22, 2025. Onesies are encouraged but not required, and a Best Onesie award will be given. Registration includes a commemorative beanie and a donation to the Asheville Downtown Association.

Course, entry and policies

The course starts in front of Jan Davis Tires on Patton Avenue and finishes in the Galaxy Room parking lot. Roads on the course will be closed in preparation for the Asheville Holiday Parade. There will be no course aid and parking is available downtown. Runners are subject to a 30-minute time limit and must clear the course by the posted cutoff.

Online registration is open through the lead-up to the event; there is no onsite or paper registration. Entry pricing listed in the event details includes an earlier rate and a higher race day rate; current availability shows 300 spots remaining. Packet pick-up is available at Jan Davis Tires on race morning. Transfers to a virtual entry, another runner, or a different distance are allowed up to five days before the event.

Awards are offered for 1st through 3rd places in female, male and nonbinary categories, plus the Best Onesie award. Strollers are allowed if started at the back; dogs are not permitted. Service animals may be allowed with prior approval and supporting documentation. The event has a no-refund, no-deferral policy.
