CAK 5K on the Runway

The CAK5K on the Runway is a unique running event taking place at the Akron-Canton Airport, featuring a course that runs on actual taxiways and runways. Scheduled for October 5, 2025, the event includes various activities such as an Adult Run/Walk, a Student Run/Walk, and the Lil' Captains Dash for younger participants. Participants can enjoy a special feature called the Afterburner Zone, a 100-meter sprint within the 5K race.
