KJ's 5K for Mental Health and Animal Rescue

KJ's 5K for Mental Health and Animal Rescue is the 9th annual event in Akron, Ohio, at Portage Lakes State Park (5031 Manchester Rd, Akron 44319). The in-person 5K Run/Walk combines fitness with fundraising for local mental health and animal-rescue groups; proceeds benefit Portage Path Behavioral Health and select animal charities. The day features an awards ceremony, remembrance, and presentation.

A virtual 5K option is available, allowing participants to complete 3.1 miles between September 1 and October 4.
