The H-E-B Cameron Park Zoo Stampede took place on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at Cameron Park Zoo, 1701 N 4th Street, Waco, TX 76707. The event included these distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- 1K
- Virtual Cycling Event - 10 Mile, 25 Mile, 50 Mile
Registration was capped at 850 participants and the event reached capacity. A partners-only registration page was also available for H-E-B partners. The 5K and 10K were professionally timed and the courses were USATF certified. The event supported the zoo’s animal care and conservation work.
Logistics and race items
Early packet pickup occurred Friday, November 7 at the Corwin, Estes & Jaynes Education Center by the main entry gate (4:00 pm to 7:00 pm). Race day packet pickup was on site at Cameron Park Zoo in front of the main entry door (6:30 am to 8:30 am). The 5K entry included a short-sleeved cotton t-shirt and the 10K included a long-sleeved technical shirt. 1K entries did not include a shirt but a shirt could be purchased for $15 during registration.
