Champlain Islands Marathon and Half Marathon

The Champlain Islands Marathon and Half Marathon is an annual running event held in South Hero, Vermont, starting and finishing near the historic home of Clarence H. DeMar, a seven-time Boston Marathon winner. The courses are certified and feature flat to rolling terrain on paved roads through scenic farmland, apple orchards, and summer cottages along the west shore of South Hero and Grand Isle.
