The City of Champions Half Marathon 10k/5k takes place on Saturday, November 22, 2025 in Gadsden, Alabama. The race starts and ends at Back Forty Beer Company and the course runs through some of the highlights of Gadsden. The event benefits The United Way of Etowah County and other local charities. Registration notes: entry fees for the Half Marathon and 10k increase after October 30, 2025 at 11:59pm CDT. Registration for the 5k ends November 19, 2025 at 11:59pm CST. Packet pickup is Friday, November 21 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Back Forty Beer Company, with additional pickup offered race morning from 6:30am to 7:00am. All participant information and updates will be emailed to registrants; a valid email address is requested during registration.
Awards and finish items: Half Marathon finishers receive a custom medal at the finish. Age group awards will be given. 10k and 5k age group winners receive custom medals. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
