The Medal Madness 5K, 10K, & Half Marathon takes place on December 13, 2025, in Gadsden, Alabama at James Martin Trail Park (829 Old S 4th St, 35901). All runners must register on RunSignup; there is no on-site registration.

Course and logistics
Races are held on a pea gravel trail. The 5K and 10K use an out-and-back loop listed as 0.78 miles (1.56 miles round trip); the 5K repeats that out-and-back twice and the 10K repeats it four times. The half marathon uses an out-and-back loop that is repeated six times.
Packet pickup opens 30 minutes before the race and closes 10 minutes before the race. The course time limit is 3 hours and 30 minutes. Organizers note GPS may route to a small building on Old S 4th Street; if so, go south on Old S 4th Street and turn right into the parking lot behind the Gadsden Mall.
