About the race
Medal Madness 5K, 10K, & Half Marathon takes place at James D. Martin Park in Gadsden, Alabama, on a pea gravel trail. The event offers three distances: 5K (one out-and-back), 10K (two out-and-backs), and the half marathon (four out-and-backs), all run on the same course layout.
Races begin with a group photo, and there is a best-costume award (costume encouraged but not required). All finishers receive a themed medal. The event is part of the US Road Running Race Series and carries a 3-hour and 30-minute course limit.
