About the race
US Road Running hosts the Pie Gobbler 5K, 10K, 13.1, & 26.2 at James D. Martin Park in Gadsden, AL. The pea-gravel trail course circles James Martin Trail Park and runs behind the Gadsden Mall, with an out-and-back layout: 5K equals two laps, 10K four laps, half marathon six laps, and marathon twelve laps.
The event emphasizes a festive atmosphere with encouraged costumes and a themed finisher medal for all finishers. It also offers US Road Running Race Series points. A six-hour course time limit applies, and finishers earn recognition within the series.
