The Cloudland Canyon Trail Races take place December 6-7, 2025 at Cloudland Canyon State Park, 122 Cloudland Canyon Park Rd, Rising Fawn, GA. The event is organized by Run Bum Races / RunBumTours. Registration closes on December 6. To be guaranteed race swag and a medal, runners must be registered by November 1.
All registered runners receive a pint glass and a beanie or hat. Finisher medals are provided for the longer distances (50 mile and 50K). The event contributes money to Cloudland Canyon State Park / Friends of Cloudland Canyon State Park. Refund policy: outside of 90 days prior to the event a 50% credit toward another Run Bum race is offered minus fees; credits must be used within one year. Within 90 days prior, there are no refunds, transfers, or deferments.

The courses start and finish in Cloudland Canyon State Park. The 50K consists of a single 14 loop and then a lollipop section; the 50 mile uses the 50K course with an additional lollipop. Routes include mainly rolling hills, several climbs of about 200-500 ft, and sections that descend to the bottom of the canyon and return. Runners pass waterfalls and open valley views. Cutoff times and conservative elevation gains listed by the organizer: 50 Mile - 15.5 hours, about 6500 ft gain; 50K - 11 hours, about 4500 ft gain; 25K - 5.5 hours, about 2200 ft gain; 5 Miler - 1.5 hours, about 500 ft gain.
