The Donut 8k & Munchkin 1 Miler is a winter running event on February 28, 2026, at Ira B. Jones Elementary School on Kimberly Avenue in Asheville, North Carolina. The event benefits Ira B. Jones Elementary School and is presented in partnership with the school family teacher organization and Kick It Event Management. Course maps are provided and courses are subject to change.

- Sprinkle Dash - untimed fun run for ages 12 and under
Registration and policies
Entry fees vary by distance and registration period. The Donut 8k includes a T-shirt and has tiered pricing (early bird, winter pricing, last chance). The Munchkin 1 Miler includes a T-shirt and the Sprinkle Dash does not include a shirt. The organizer states a no-refund policy for registrations, including cancellations, postponements, injury, or event conflicts. The event may be postponed for inclement weather to April 11, 2026, at the race director’s discretion; there will be no refunds for postponement. Registrations may be transferred to a virtual entry or another runner up to five days before the event; specific transfer rules and a flat $10 shipping fee may apply after that cutoff. If the event is canceled, organizers intend to attempt virtual or socially distanced options and may ship race items, with shipping costs charged to participants.
