Event overview
The Fall 50 is a point-to-point road ultra held on October 25, 2025 in Door County, Wisconsin. The event is the 19th annual running and covers approximately 50 miles from Gills Rock to Sturgeon Bay. The race includes a Solo division and Relay divisions; the Two-Person and Team Relay (3-5 runners) divisions are listed as sold out. Registration opened April 1, 2025 and closes October 19, 2025.
Race logistics and services
Solo runners have a 12-hour time limit to complete the course and must meet course cutoffs at specified exchanges. A one-way coach shuttle is offered for solo runners for a fee; non-runners and relay teams are not allowed on the solo shuttle. Drop bags are accessible at every aid station, including Mile 5.4, 11.6, 18.8, 23.9, 28.9, 32.7, 36.8, 43.0, 46.0, and the finish. Aid stations provide a dedicated Solo Runners Only tent with drinks and food such as water, sports drink, Coke, fruit, bagels, cookies, energy bars, gels, and a Half Way Buffet at Exchange 5 with hot soup and sandwiches. A headlamp or flashlight is required for early and possibly late race conditions; lights may be left at Mile 5.4 for pickup at the finish. Crew support is allowed only within aid stations. No pacers are permitted. Solo finishers receive a medal and winter beanie; awards are given to the top five men and top five women in Open and Masters divisions.
