Event overview
Pen Park Trails Fest is a trail running event on November 8, 2025, at Peninsula State Park in Fish Creek, WI. The event starts and finishes at Welcker's Point Shelter. Runners will receive a race hoodie (register early to guarantee size), a completion award, post-race beer from Sway Brewing and Blending or a nonalcoholic beverage, and on-course support and nutrition. The event contributes to the Friends of Peninsula State Park for trail development and maintenance.

The 30K uses a scenic 2-mile gravel segment before moving onto single-track and multi-use trails. The course includes multiple climbs and descents of the Niagara escarpment and reaches Sven's and Eagle bluff, returning to Welcker's Point Shelter. The 14K follows the same gravel section, separates from the 30K around mile 5, includes climbs up Sven's bluff and several longer descents, and also finishes at Welcker's Point Shelter. Both distances have a 6-hour time limit; the 30K has one strictly enforced cutoff at the Eagle Panorama Aid Station (mile 14.2).
Online registration is open from May 15 through November 5, with in-person packet pickup available on the days immediately before and the morning of the race. Post-race provisions include snacks, beer and NA/gluten-free beverages, and weather-permitting food for purchase. Pets are not allowed at Welcker's Point picnic area or while racing.
