Escape From Folsom

The Escape from Folsom is a trail running event held at Granite Beach, Folsom Lake State Recreation Area. It offers two race distances: a 10-mile run and a 5K (3.1 miles), both featuring scenic trails adorned with wildflowers. The course includes multiple aid stations providing water, electrolyte beverages, and energy gels.

Participants receive custom finisher medals, and awards are given to overall male and female champions as well as age group winners. The event promotes a supportive atmosphere with soft-cotton race shirts available for purchase. Listening devices are permitted, but runners must stay alert on the trails.
