Giving Thanks 5k / 10k / 15k / Half Marathon : November 15, 2025
The Giving Thanks race day takes place Saturday, November 15, 2025, at Southside / Rose Rudman Park in Tyler, Texas (455 Shiloh Rd). Distances offered include:

- 15k

The 5k is an out-and-back on a flat path in the park. The 10k and 15k use the 5k course repeated two and three times, respectively. The half marathon is a slightly extended out-and-back loop repeated three times. Participants pass a water/gatorade and Gu gel station during each loop; aid station mile markers are approximately 2.20, 4.36, 6.56, 8.75, and 10.90. The 15k and half marathon have a 3.5 hour time limit; an early start option is available on request.
Event logistics
Medals are provided for all participants and no shirts are offered. Free race photos will be available. Results are posted on the organizer’s website on the evening of the race. Bib pickup and on-site waiver signing are available; entrants should submit a signed waiver before the race, bring it on race day, or sign at pickup. Registration is online through PayPal or Active; entrants are asked to use only one registration method and will receive a confirmation email within 12 hours. The event is rain or shine; no refunds are offered, though transfers or deferrals can be arranged with the organizers. Parking is free on nearby streets such as Donnybrook Ave; do not park on grass or in fields and follow posted parking signs. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
