Event details
The 23rd Annual Tyler Turkey Trot 5K & Fun Run takes place on Thursday, November 27, 2025, at Racquet & Jog, 5403 S Broadway Ave, Tyler, TX 75703. The event includes the following distances:
- 5K Run/Walk
- Kids' Dash (open to ages 11 and under)
5K registrants receive a long-sleeve event t-shirt, a finisher medal, and chip-timed results. Kids' Dash registrants receive a kids t-shirt and a medal. Kids who enter the Kids' Dash may also join the 5K at no additional entry cost, but a separate 5K registration is required to receive chip timing and an additional finisher medal.
Age categories for the 5K are listed in five-year bands from 9 & under up to 75+. Kids' Dash age groups are 4 & under, 5-6, 7-8, and 9-11.
Registration and logistics
Registration is online only; there are no in-person registrations. Entry fees listed are $35 for the 5K and $15 for the Kids' Dash, with prices increasing after October 31, 2025. Online registration closes at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, November 26.
Packet pick up will be in the Racquet & Jog parking lot on Tuesday, November 25 (12 PM - 6 PM) and Wednesday, November 26 (12 PM - 7 PM). RaceJoy will be available for live GPS tracking and progress alerts. The event supports Promise Academy of Tyler, TX, as its 2025 charity.
