Team Hope events raise awareness and funds to support the Huntington’s Disease Society of America (HDSA). Huntington’s disease is described as a fatal genetic disorder that causes progressive breakdown of nerve cells in the brain and deterioration of physical and mental abilities. Since their inception, Team Hope Walks have raised more than $14 million and involved tens of thousands of participants. Proceeds support HDSA programs such as community services, education, advocacy and research.
