Medal Madness 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon
The event takes place on January 24, 2026, in Gadsden, Alabama, at James Martin Trail Park (829 Old S 4th St, Gadsden, AL 35901). The race program includes the following distances:

Finisher medals are provided. Shirts and event gear are available through the event shop. The event is part of a series that awards series points and other event awards. A best costume contest is listed as part of the event activities.
Course and logistics
All courses run on a pea gravel trail. The 5K and 10K share a loop of 0.78 miles (out-and-back equals 1.56 miles); the 5K repeats that out-and-back twice and the 10K repeats it four times. The Half Marathon uses a 1.09-mile loop (out-and-back equals 3.18 miles) repeated six times. There is a course time limit of 3 hours 30 minutes.
All runners must register on RunSignup; no on-site registration is available. Packet pickup is available before the race. GPS may direct participants to a small building on Old S 4th Street; the park is located behind the Gadsden Mall with parking access from Old S. 4 Street.
