The Hyner Half is scheduled for August 22, 2026, at Hyner Run State Park in North Bend, Pennsylvania. The event lists two distances:

Course and rules
The trail race takes place on trails in Sproul State Forest and uses a 5.5 hour cut-off for the 14 mile course. The event is open to runners and speed hikers only; organizers note that walking the full course would make it impossible to finish within the cut-off. There are three aid stations on the 14 mile course at mile 4, mile 8, and mile 11.5. The 7K follows the same first 2.5 miles as the longer race, then returns to the park with a 2 mile downhill finish. The shorter route includes over 1000 feet of elevation gain and 1000 feet of loss in about 4.5 miles. Registration rules state there are no refunds, deferments, bib transfers, or unregistered participants. The park also has a swimming pool available for runners to use during the day.
