Leadville Trail 100 Mile Run
Leadville Trail 100 Run, presented by La Sportiva, is a legendary 100-mile ultramarathon held in Leadville, Colorado. The mostly forest-trail, out-and-back course climbs from about 9,200 feet to 12,600 feet on two major peaks, including Hope Pass, with rugged Colorado high-country terrain and notable climbs on Powerline and Sugarloaf. Runners cover roughly 100 miles with about 15,500 feet of elevation gain, stopping at 11 aid stations along the route.
Pacers are permitted after mile 62; crewing is limited to four official locations. Finishers earn iconic belt buckles—25-hour big buckle and 30-hour small buckle—amid a historic, community-driven festival in downtown Leadville. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
