Sheep Mountain Ultras

The Sheep Mountain Ultras, part of the Human Potential Running Series, is an annual trail running event held in Fairplay, Colorado, featuring challenging courses at an average elevation over 10,600 feet. The 11th edition offers three distances: a 50-mile ultra, a 50k, and a half marathon, all starting and finishing at the Town of Fairplay Beach. The ultra and 50k courses combine technical terrain with remote forest service roads, providing runners with stunning mountain views and a wilderness experience.

The half marathon offers a gentler introduction to trail running on flowing dirt county roads and fire roads.
