Lebanon Shamrock Shuffle
The Lebanon Shamrock Shuffle is the 25th annual running event presented by Lebanon Recreation Arts & Parks. It is a benefit for park development and enhancements, special projects, and adult and youth programs. The event is capped at 1,200 participants and includes the following options:
- 5K Road Race
- 1 Mile Fun Run
- Virtual 5K
Course, logistics, and registration
The 5K course is USATF certified (NH15004TY) and described as relatively flat, running along residential roads and the Mascoma River. The race is officially timed with chip timing; participants must have their bib with name to ensure correct recorded times. The start and finish are at Colburn Park, 51 N. Park St., Lebanon, NH. Bib and shirt pickup occur at the Upper Valley Senior Center (packet pick-up includes a Friday option and a race-morning option). Parking is available behind City Hall and in designated street spaces.
Early-registration includes a long sleeve cotton shirt if completed by March 8; fees increase starting March 9 and shirts are not guaranteed after that date. Sample early and race-week fees listed by age: adults 18+ ($30 early / $35 later), youth 13-17 ($25 / $30), youth 12 and under ($20 / $25). The 1 Mile Fun Run is free; shirts are available for purchase. A post-race social with local partners and raffles is part of the event. Volunteers are coordinated through the recreation department.
