About the race
The LOPA Trail Run for Life is an annual event held at Cherokee Horse Farm in Carencro, Louisiana. The 12th edition, scheduled for November 2, 2025, features a Super Hero Fun Run, a 5K run/walk, and a 10K run. The race celebrates organ, tissue, and eye donation by honoring donors, their families, and recipients, fostering community spirit and awareness.
Participants enjoy one of the area's most beautiful courses, with no strollers or pets allowed on the trail. The event encourages pre-registration and offers packet pickup on race day.
