The Moonlight Beach Half Marathon & 10k is presented by Excelerace and takes place on March 15, 2026, at Moonlight State Beach in Encinitas, CA. The event includes the following race distances:

Race details and services
The event includes a runner T-shirt, finisher medal, and prize money for top finishers and a costume contest. Costume contest prizes are $300 for first, $200 for second, and $100 for third. Half Marathon top-finisher prizes for male and female divisions are $300, $200, and $100. New age-bracket winners in the Half and 10k receive free entry to the next year.
Packet pick-up is at Road Runner Sports in Carlsbad (5617 Paseo Del Norte #100) on Friday, March 13 and Saturday, March 14, with limited hours on those days. A shuttle will run between San Dieguito Academy High School (pickup) and US Bank at 2nd and D Street (drop-off) in Encinitas.
