Pinkathon Challenge for Breast Cancer
The Pinkathon Challenge for Breast Cancer is a hybrid running, walking, and cycling event held annually in October, with the 2025 in-person event taking place at the San Francisco Ferry Building near Gott’s Roadside Restaurant. Participants can choose any distance—from 5K to 50K, including a Pink Ribbon Trail—and complete it either on race day or virtually anywhere worldwide throughout October. The event promotes a supportive, inclusive atmosphere with participants encouraged to wear pink.
It is a fundraiser for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, with no official timing, aid stations, or trail markings except for select shorter routes. Maps and turn-by-turn directions are provided to guide participants. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
Always double-check with the organizer's website – things can change, and we might have sprinted past a few details!
