Event overview
Hellgate 100K++ is a trail ultramarathon of 66.6 miles held in the Blue Ridge mountains near Natural Bridge Station, Virginia. The race takes place on the second Saturday in December; the 2025 edition is listed as December 13, 2025. The course runs through winter conditions and is described as a night and winter trail event.
Course and qualification
The course begins at the northern terminus of the Glenwood Horse Trail at the Big Hellgate Parking lot next to Big Hellgate Creek. The race is a Western States 100 qualifying event for 2027.
