Event overview
The Terrapin Mountain races take place in Sedalia, VA on March 21, 2026. The event is organized by Winding Way Run Co. and has been held for more than 17 years. Races run on trails around Terrapin Mountain, White Oak Ridge, Goff Mountain, and Hunting Creek. Distances offered:

Logistics and support
Registration opens December 1, 2025. Each registered entrant receives event swag (including a terrapin mug), a finisher's shirt, access to fully stocked aid stations, a post-race meal, and a special award for qualified category finishers. Tent and car camping are free; RV spots with electricity are available through the local Sedalia Center. A pizza option is available for Friday evening for an additional fee. All registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferrable except as stated in the event Pregnancy and Postpartum Policy. If the race reaches capacity and a waitlist exists, the refund and transfer policy may be re-evaluated. The event partners with the Harvest Outreach Center; donations at registration support that nonprofit’s school-based and summer mental health services for youth ages 4–17.
