Event overview
Running the Rose is scheduled for January 24, 2026 at Tyler State Park, Northwoods Pavilion, 789 Park Road 16, Tyler, TX. The event uses single-track trails through East Texas pine forest with stands of approximately 100-foot trees and includes rolling hills. Packet pick up is handled at the Northwoods Pavilion.

- 11 mile - 1 x 11 mile loop
- 22 mile - 2 x 11 mile loop
- 54K - 3 x 11 mile loop
- 108K - 6 x 11 mile loop
Course, support and policies
The course is looped with aid stations located at Mile 3.22 (Old Road), Mile 8.07 (Black Jack) and Mile 11 (Start/Finish). The race is cupless and all participants must carry a hydration device (water bottle or hydration bladder). Water, endurance drinks and typical aid-station food will be available; a reusable collapsible cup is sold at packet pick up. Warm foods will be available at the Start/Finish and Black Jack aid stations later in the day for longer-distance runners.
Drop bags are allowed for 108K, 54K and 22-mile entrants at the start/finish. Pacers are permitted for the 108K only, on the last two loops, and must complete the required pacer information/waiver. Park entry costs $6 per person for ages 13 and up; proof of a park pass or payment is required at packet pick up. Registration and refund rules include race-credit policies for cancellations and limits on last-minute transfers; guaranteed shirt sizes require registration before mid-January. Finisher awards: 108K finisher buckle; medals for 54K, 22M, 11M and 7K; prizes for top overall and masters placements as specified. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
