Running the Rose
Running the Rose is a trail ultramarathon hosted by Blaze Trails Running at Tyler State Park in Tyler, Texas. The event offers multiple distances: 7K (4.3 miles), 11-mile, 22-mile, 54K, and 108K, run on single-track trails winding through East Texas pine forests with 100-foot tall trees and rolling hills. Runners navigate looped courses (up to six 11-mile loops for the 108K).
The race is cupless; participants must carry a hydration device and must purchase a day pass for the park. Longer races offer aid and drop bags; pacers permitted for the 108K last two loops. All races start at the Northwoods Pavilion and registration is online only. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
