RutFest
RutFest is an inclusive 36-hour running and hiking event held at the Catamount Outdoor Family Center in Williston, Vermont. Participants run or walk two scenic trail loops, approximately 3 and 4 miles each, featuring beautiful views of Camel's Hump and Mt. Mansfield.
The event encourages a relaxed, community-focused atmosphere rather than competition, allowing runners to complete laps at their own pace throughout the weekend. Entry is donation-based to ensure accessibility, with proceeds supporting local outdoor organizations. Participants also contribute by volunteering and providing snacks.
