Santa Claus Half Marathon

The Santa Claus Half Marathon, organized by Running Club North and the UAF Cross Country Running Team, takes place at Chena Lake Recreation Area in Fairbanks, Alaska. The event offers two start times: 8 AM for runners expecting to finish in three hours or more, and 9 AM for those aiming to finish under three hours. The scenic course follows bike paths, roads, dikes, flood control areas, and trails around Chena Lake, with a race cutoff at 1 PM.

Participants receive a race shirt, finisher medal, and enjoy a BBQ at the finish line. Prizes are awarded to the top male and female finishers. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
