About the race
Sock It To Me Santa 5k in Asheville, NC, is a holiday-themed, chip-timed 5K through downtown, winding through the South Slope and River Arts District. Proceeds benefit the Asheville City Schools Band Programs. The race offers a festive atmosphere for all ages and abilities, with costumes encouraged and a prize for favorite costumes.
All 5K runners receive a t-shirt, finisher medal, and a chip-timed bib; an optional knit hat adds to the swag. A Kids Snowflake Chaser is available on the track.
