Event overview
The Acid Hill 5 Miler is a road running event in Rockingham, North Carolina, on January 10, 2026. The race distance is 5 miles, run as a wheel-measured 2 1/2 mile out-and-back. The start and finish are at the intersection of Blewett Falls Road and Mini Meadows Lane.
Course and logistics
The course is on rural paved roads with rolling, flat, downhill, and uphill sections. There are no houses or dogs on the course and traffic is described as very light. One aid station is available for water only, located at about 1 1/2 miles outbound and again at about 3 1/2 miles on the return; water at the aid station may be self-serve. Water is also available at the finish. Timing will be provided. There are no awards, shirts, medals, or ribbons.
Registration is online only through Ultrasignup. Entry fee through December 31, 2025 is $15 plus a $3.50 Ultrasignup fee; entry fee from January 1, 2026 increases to $50 plus a $3.50 Ultrasignup fee.
