The Holiday Showdown (Tyler, TX)
The Holiday Showdown takes place on Sunday, November 30, 2025, at Rose Rudman Park, 450 Shiloh Rd, Tyler, TX 76703. The event offers a Half-Marathon, a 10K, a 5K, and a Kid's Dash. The Kid's Dash is a short 100-200 meter sprint; participants receive a participation shirt and may add a finisher medal. Virtual participation is not available. Registration includes an event-themed participation t-shirt (t-shirt cutoff is 11/16), a finisher medal for the 5K, 10K, and Half-Marathon, and eligibility for age-group awards.

Age-group awards are given three deep in male and female divisions from 0-4 through 80+. Overall male, overall female, male masters (40+), and female masters (40+) receive special awards. Awards are distributed at the event and will not be shipped. Race-day packet pick-up is offered on race day. Volunteers can earn a free race code in exchange for race-day service. The event uses a points system that awards 1 point per kilometer (5K = 5 points, 10K = 10 points, Half = 21 points) and additional points for top finishes to qualify for discounts or free entries in future events.
