Course, services and rules
The loop is reported as 95% trail and includes a roughly 5.5-mile section on private property; most of the course stays on Camp Tuscazoar property. Cutoff limits are set by distance: the 100 and 75 mile races have the longest cutoff, the 50 mile has a shorter cutoff, and the night 50 and 25 have the shortest cutoff. All runners may use drop bags; primary drop bag storage is inside Kimble Hall at the main aid station, with additional drop bag handling for the Preserve aid station and returns to the finish area as available.
Aid stations are located around each loop at River Ranch, Camp Road Crossing, Buzzards Roost (two locations), Tuscazoar Preserve, and the start/finish area, with varying crew access. The race is cupless; runners must carry their own hydration and bring a reusable cup for aid station drinks. Pacers are allowed only for the 100 and 75 mile races, not before mile 50, one pacer at a time, and must sign a liability waiver. Finishers receive awards: belt buckles for 100/75 and medals for 50/25; overall and age-group awards are given. No refunds are offered; deferral credit to the following year is allowed up to three weeks before the race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
