About the race
WCRC Reach the Beach Relay is a two-day team relay running from the White Mountains to Hampton Beach in New Hampshire. The course is a multi-leg relay with two team formats: 12 runners (full team) or 6 runners (sprint team), and each runner completes three legs. Teams travel in a dedicated van and sleep in the van along the way.
The finish line celebration includes a BBQ, beers, and beach time. The event is heavily subsidized by WCRC to about $100 per runner, covering entry, van, and gas (food not included). It’s a members-only, first-come event with a two-team cap. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
