Duncan Ridge Trail
Located in the North Georgia Mountains, the Duncan Ridge Trail 50K/30K is a rugged trail race starting and finishing at Vogel State Park near Blairsville, GA. Runners choose between a 50K and a 30K, both built on the Coosa Backcountry Trail and the famed Duncan Ridge Trail, considered among Georgia’s toughest. The out-and-back course features more than 10,000 feet of elevation gain, with turnarounds at Fish Gap (50K) and White Oak Stomp (30K).
Four aid stations dot the route, and the finish crosses a bridge to Shelter #1 under the Duncan Ridge banner. Proceeds benefit the park volunteers, and organizers emphasize a challenging, scenic mountain atmosphere. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
Always double-check with the organizer's website – things can change, and we might have sprinted past a few details!
