TriWaco Triathlon
The TriWaco Triathlon, held annually in downtown Waco, Texas, is a well-established event now in its 16th year. Hosted at Indian Spring Park, the race features both sprint and Olympic distance triathlons. Participants enjoy a scenic course that includes swimming in the Brazos River, biking through the spectator-friendly Cameron Park area, and running segments designed for great viewing.
The event offers a variety of categories including collegiate, high school, physically challenged divisions, relays, and a "Try a Tri" option for beginners. Organized by the Greater Waco Chamber, the TriWaco Triathlon combines competitive racing with community involvement and volunteer support.
